The project objective was energy reduction with a lower carbon footprint.
The refrigeration/HVAC equipment selected was (1) advanced technology (2) digital compressors (3) variable speed drives and (4) EC fans.
We designed the electrical component and incorporated both the refrigeration and HVAC into one switchboard with one controller.
With the customer needing only one switchboard, one set of sub mains, one controller the financial benefits to the customer were great. In addition, the project allowed the development of greater organisation on site. LMOB was also able to implement both specialised electrical installations into one switchboard, ultimately saving the customer a considerable amount of money.
Due to lack of space on site, LMOB strategically assembled the plant room and equipment at our workshop in Vermont that was then craned into position on site.
For its input into the group project, LMOB received an award in addition to being publically acknowledged.
